Each student is responsible for providing the following tools:

- Marshalltown Pointing Trowel - 5" x 2”
- Line Level (metal)
- Nylon string (masonry twine)
- Mechanical pencils
- Sharpies Twin Tip fine/ultra fine
- Stanley Powerlock Tape (¾" x 3m) MUST BE METRIC!
- Paintbrush ½”
- Work Gloves, heavy duty
- Plumb Bob
- Compass (e.g. Silva Trekker 420)
- Scale ruler (such as Alvin Metric 47MTS)
- Clipboard
- Notebook (for personal notes)
- Metal file (aka Bastard file to sharpen tools)
- Folding Rule (metric)
- Small first aid kit (moleskin, band aids, ointment, pain reliever, Tecnu, TP, etc.)
- Swiss Army Knife (optional)
- Small handheld root cutters/pruning shears, heavy duty
- A small utility box to store your tools that can fit in your backpack
